“I graduated from Marylhurst University with a degree in the Interior Design Program. I have over 15 years experience in Kitchen & Bath Design with a knowledge in both commercial and residential design. I love the kitchen & bath industry as a whole and how it has evolved to where it is today. Designing kitchens with the many different clients that come in with individual styles, tastes and ideas allows for so much creativity to happen in one place. Clients are very savvy these days and can gather a lot of information, sometimes more than they can sift through. So, what I love about designing kitchens is taking in all of the information at the beginning and helping clients narrow down or expand all of the ideas into a space that is functional and beautiful for them. In the end, the kitchen and other cabinetry needs to reflect the client’s needs and style not mine. My best tip to anyone who is struggling with making design or product choices is to understand that we live in a world that is full of a million ideas and we can borrow some of them, but never all of them in the same space or time. Do what you love with the ideas you have and be your own trend.”
