Construction Styles

At DeWils you’ll find three distinct series, designed to fit a variety of style preferences.

Designer

American-style framed cabinetry features a traditional construction method where a solid wood frame (called a "face frame") is attached to the front of the cabinet box. This frame adds strength and stability and provides a mounting surface for doors and drawers.

Horizons

European-style frameless cabinetry, also known as full-access or Euro-style cabinetry, eliminates the face frame found in traditional American cabinets. Instead, doors and drawers attach directly to the cabinet box, allowing for a sleek, modern appearance and maximizing interior storage space. This style offers clean lines, precise gaps, and a minimalist aesthetic, making it popular in contemporary and modern kitchen designs.

Expressions

Inset cabinetry features doors and drawers that are set flush within the cabinet frame, creating a smooth, seamless look. This style requires precise craftsmanship, as the components must fit perfectly within the frame. Inset cabinetry offers a classic, high-end appearance often found in traditional and transitional kitchen designs, and it emphasizes clean lines and timeless elegance.
